10:14. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸಲಹೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಮಾಟಮಂತ್ರ ಮಾಡುವ ಹೆಂಗಸಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೌಲನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಇಷಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

10:14. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸದೆ ಯಕ್ಷಿ ಣಿಗಾರರನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಇಷ ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದನು.

10:14. He did not seek the LORD's guidance, so the LORD killed him and transferred the kingdom to David son of Jesse.
